Cherry brandy, Cointreau, gin, lime, pineapple, grenadine, Benedictine, bitter – This long drink was developed sometime before 1915 by Ngiam Tong Boon, a Hainanese bartender working at the Long Bar in Raffles Hotel, Singapore.
A smooth, slow, and semi-sweet cocktail with a complex flavour that has remained a firm favourite for over 100 years.
